The SRT Track Experience is an entire day of full-throttle action for SRT vehicle owners and performance enthusiasts alike. The SRT Track Experience includes guidance by professional instructors from the Richard Petty Driving Experience for each of five modules to ensure fun and top-level instruction in a safe and structured setting.

Driving Dynamics
Your first trackday begins with a classroom-style "chalk talk" session that covers basic racing techniques. You'll learn how to find a proper seating position, the best time to brake, when to accelerate and how to exit corners quickly. Then, you'll buckle into one of our SRT vehicles to put those lessons to the test. Don't worry about speed. Get comfortable behind the wheel, look ahead, and learn the line.
Autocross Challenge
This low-speed obstacle course is the best place to learn the physical dimensions of your car. This exercise will help refine your steering inputs and show you the effects of subtle throttle and brake manipulation. Hitting a cone results in a time penalty added to your lap, so race clean to earn prizes and a spot on the SRT podium.
Head to Head Challenge
Feel the surge of adrenaline as you battle against your peers in an elimination-style competition. The driver with the best time wins, but a false start or downed cone will count against your score. You'll need both speed and car control skills to win bragging rights in this round.
Performance Drive
By now, you've learned the basics. Now, strap on a helmet and grab the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Our professional instructors help you push yourself to the next level. In this session, you'll master high-speed curves as you close in on SRT's exciting edge of performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
- May I register for free if I own a non-US-market vehicle?
- Only US-market SRT vehicles may redeem a VIN for the SRT Track Experience. Non-US-market vehicle owners are welcome to attend an SRT Track Experience event at the normal event cost.
- Do I drive my own car?
- You will not drive your own car. You will drive Chrysler group-supplied SRT vehicles only.
- When do the events start and how long do they last?
- Unless otherwise specified, all events will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
- What does it cost?
- If your vehicle was ordered after April 1, 2005, the registration has already been included in the cost of your vehicle and there is no additional charge (U.S. spec vehicles only). If your vehicle was ordered before April 1, 2005, there is a $500 charge for the one-day event. Check your Monroney Label (window sticker) for reference, or call us at headquarters, at 800-998-1110.
- How long do I have to use my Track Experience if it was included with the cost of my car?
- Vehicles purchased before 4/1/07 have 2 years from date of purchase, Vehicles purchased after 4/107 have one year from date of purchase. Additionally, as long as you have registered for an event before your expiration you can attend any event, even if we visit your area after your expiration.
- What does a non-driver get to do at the SRT Experience?
- The non-driver can participate in the opening and closing sessions, visit the various driving modules, and get the ride of a lifetime during Hot Laps performed by the professional instructors from the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
- Where is it?
- The SRT Track Experience will be held at many racetracks around the country. Approximately 25 - 30 events are in the works for this year. Visit our event schedule page for more information. This schedule is updated frequently, so check back often.
- What if I want to bring someone who does not want to drive but just wants to come as a spectator (non-driving guest)?
- Although this is not intended to be a spectator event, non-driving guests can attend for a $100.00 fee. The fee is to cover meals.
- What is the SRT Track Experience?
- It is a one-day driving experience. It is an opportunity for SRT owners and enthusiasts to realize the potential and performance of the current SRT vehicle line-up in a safe and structured environment under the guidance of professional driving instructors.
- May I bring a friend who wants to participate as a driver?
- Yes. Guests are allowed as space is available. You can enter your guest information on the registration form and the $500.00 registration fee applies.
- How many modules can I participate in per day?
- The SRT Track Experience gives you the unique opportunity to learn a variety of driving skills by participating in the following four modules: driving dynamics, autocross, head-to-head challenge, and performance drive. Hot laps are held at the end of the day and all guests (Driving and Non-Driving) are eligible. The modules at each event may vary, depending on track facilities and weather conditions.
- How do I register?
- You can register in several different ways. Choose the one that is most convenient for you. 1. Register online in the registration section of this Web site! It's fast and easy! 2. Download the registration form and fax it to SRT Track Experience Headquarters at 1-248-553-2138. 3. Request a registration form via e-mail at registrationform@srttrackexperience.com.
- How do I know if the event fee was included in the cost of my vehicle?
- Refer to the Monroney label (window sticker) on your vehicle. If the fee was included, it will be stated as part of the standard package. Or, call us at headquarters at 800-998-1110 and we can check your VIN.
- What if I don't see any events in my area?
- Please continue to check back to the Events Schedule. There are new events being added frequently.. While we won't reach every track around the country, the Track Experience is being scheduled at as many tracks as possible.
- What if I cannot attend the event when it comes to my area? Can I attend another one?
- Yes, you can attend any event in any area you desire.
- Who is invited?
- SRT owners and automotive enthusiasts, ages 18 and up, are eligible to participate and must register to attend.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing, by e-mail, at info@srttrackexperience.com, or faxed to 1-248-553-2138. We understand that plans change. You may cancel your reservation at any time up to 14 days before your event, with no penalty. Cancellations received after that will be charged the full registration amount.
- Who can I buy a gift card for? How much is it?
- SRT Track Experience gift cards can be purchased for anyone 18 or older with a valid driver's license at a cost of $500 per person.
- Do lease cars qualify for the Track Experience?
- Yes, if you have leased the vehicle within the last year there is no additional cost to attend. For all newly purchased (and leased vehicles) the Track Experience offer expires one year from date of purchase (or lease).
- Where can I get my own official SRT merchandise?

- How long will it take to receive my SRT Track Experience Gift Card?
- You should receive your gift card within 7-10 days from the date of purchase.

- SRT Track Experience gift card recipients can redeem their gift by registering on the SRT Track Experience registration page. All recipients will receive an email confirmation acknowledging their selected date and venue.
